Marissa Q. Paine is the founder and principal consultant of Painefree Coaching & Consulting. She is the Chief Problem Solver for clients and for her team.
A corporate executive turned macro-level social worker, Marissa brings more than twenty years of corporate, nonprofit, education, and faith-based experience to the practice including serving as executive director of several health and human service organizations and directing a federally funded capacity building program providing grants, training, and technical assistance to more than 70 nonprofits in the Greater St. Louis region. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Marissa held diverse corporate roles in human resources and public affairs. She also managed the public relations activities of a Fortune 200 brand.
Today, Marissa maintains a coaching roster of CEOs, senior executives, small business owners, and highly motivated professionals from diverse sectors as well as peer groups, boards of directors, and leadership teams. She is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and retreat facilitator known for her light-hearted ability to connect with her audience and “take the pain” out of challenging topics.
Marissa holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Webster University and a master’s degree in social work administration from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her coaching credential from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Elaine Powers brings nearly three decades of experience in nonprofit administration, fund development, communications, and board relationships to the Painefree team. As a creative problem solver, Elaine is adept at improving organizational efficiency, making data-driven decisions, and developing cross-sector partnerships and collaborations. Her areas of expertise include strategic and business planning, program evaluation, budgeting and financial analysis, development and implementation of administrative and management systems, grant research and writing, risk management, governance, and communicating with boards and donors.
Elaine earned a Masters of Public Administration with Emphasis in Not-for-Profit Administration from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville and is a member of the NonProfit Services Center’s Women Executive Director Leadership Academy class of 2010.

A skilled manager, communicator, and multitasker, LaKecia provides the highest level of service to Painefree clients by ensuring adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.
LaKecia graduated from Webster University with a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and has worked in the nonprofit sector in various capacities for the past 5 years. She is a member of the United Way Allocations Board and volunteers for several organizations around the St. Louis area.
Tiffany Jackson, LMSW
Tiffany Jackson is a seasoned nonprofit executive and post-graduate educator specializing in management training and staff development. She is the lead trainer with The Painefree Coaching & Consulting Group.
Tiffany is a licensed master social worker, training future social workers at the University of Missouri and Washington University in St. Louis.
Next to being a grandmother, supporting the Painefree Team and our clients is one of Tamala’s favorite things. Tamala brings more than twenty years of customer service and administrative support to her role. She’s often the smiling face greeting you during Painefree events and, when she is not, she’s working behind the scene to make sure the boat stays afloat.
Lakesha has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years, serving in diverse roles throughout her tenure. She has experience in program development, policy analysis, and quality assurance. She is an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with senior managers to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementations.
Over the last few years, Lakesha has worked to build productive working relationships with all project stakeholders, and motivating the project team to achieve. Lakesha has managed a broad array of projects in industries ranging from financial services and health care, to education and philanthropy.
Lakesha believes that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. Lakesha provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive.
